An Easton, Maryland woman has been arrested and is facing multiple charges, including use of a hate symbol, after allegedly spray-painting the international transgender symbol across several properties, most notably a Catholic elementary school.
The Easton Police Department responded to reports of vandalism on the morning of September 5, 2025. Officers arrived at Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School to find property damage where the symbol had been painted on sidewalks, dumpsters, and a step. The same graffiti was discovered on a nearby Hampton Inn fence, two stop signs, and the exterior wall of another building.
Later that day, police arrested 32-year-old Sian Radaskiewicz-King in connection with the incidents. According to court documents, she faces several charges, including four counts of malicious destruction of property and four counts of use of a hate symbol. Additional charges mentioned in reports include defacing religious property and disturbing school operations, along with trespassing on posted property.
As the investigation continued, officers found more instances of the same graffiti at other locations throughout the town. These included Park Street at Dover Road, Kemp Lane at Dover Road, and on the property of a local liquor store. The widespread nature of the graffiti across Easton prompted a broader police response, leading to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect. Radaskiewicz-King was taken to the Talbot County Detention Center following her arrest.
