Two Arrested After Multiple People Stabbed on Train in Huntingdon

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing incident on a train in Cambridgeshire that left multiple people injured. The British Transport Police (BTP) are leading the investigation into the attack, which occurred in the early hours of the morning on a service traveling between Peterborough and Horsham.

Emergency services were alerted at approximately 1:00 AM and met the train at Huntingdon station. Officers from the BTP, supported by Cambridgeshire Constabulary and the East of England Ambulance Service, attended the scene. Two men were swiftly arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody for questioning. The BTP has stated that the incident is not currently being treated as terror-related.

British Transport Police confirmed that three people were transported to a hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
